Shift Details
Night 3x12‑hour shift, 19:00 to 07:30. Unit accepts first‑time travelers; locals not accepted. 50‑mile travel radius.
Qualifications & Certifications
Minimum 1.5 years nursing experience
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
Experience with charting systems (any preferred)
Experience with patient care in community hospitals (preferred)
Responsibilities
Interpret and manage dysrhythmias
Manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
Arterial line management
Central line care and management
Continuous IV sedation
Titrate cardiac IV drips and vasoactive drips
BiPAP/CPAP management and maintenance
Care of ventilated patients
Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs)
Suctioning (ETT, NT)
Isolation precautions/PPE
Orientation & Scheduling
Orientation held weekly on Mondays. Exclusion dates for 2026: 02/02, 03/02, 03/30, 05/04, 06/01, 07/06, 08/03, 08/31, 10/05, 11/02, 12/07.
Training Modules
Modules are non‑billable and counted toward total hours. RN average 4–6 hours; allied average 2–3 hours. Completed onsite during orientation and recorded via transcripts.
