Job Description
This role operates primarily 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC mills to produce high-precision aerospace components. You will set up and run Haas, Okuma, Mazak, and Makino machines, perform your own deburring and blending, and work closely with the programming team to ensure parts meet tight tolerances and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC machines, with approximately 98% of work on milling equipment.
Run Haas, Okuma, Mazak, and Makino CNC machines for both short and long production runs.
Perform complete machine setups, changeovers, and tear-downs independently.
Operate a range of machines from small open-door units to large machines with run times of 6–8 hours.
Perform your own deburring and blending to ensure all parts meet required tolerances and finish specifications.
Blend parts for extended periods when necessary, including up to several hours a day for tight-tolerance parts.
Collaborate closely with the internal programming group to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
Adjust CNC programs at the machine as needed; when capable, make G-code and M-code updates and clearly document changes for the programming team to implement on future runs.
Follow production schedules, run parts efficiently, and maintain a strong focus on quality and repeatability.
Use NX as the primary software reference for machining, with some exposure to Catia as needed.
Inspect parts during and after machining to confirm they remain within specified tolerances.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and follow all shop safety procedures.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
