Position requirements
Current and Valid CA-Licensed Massage Therapist.
Adhere to all current regulations and laws related to massage therapy.
Ability to handle sensitive client information with confidentiality abiding by HIPAA Regulations.
Discuss client concerns, medical histories, and specific stresses or problematic areas to develop the most effective approach to treatment.
Excellent communication skills.
Very self-motivated and highly organized.
Work well independently and as part of a team.
Dependable, punctual, with reliable transportation is a must.
Capacity to learn and understand our office procedures.
Demonstrates a professional demeanor that ensures confidentiality in all areas of work.
Maintain cleanliness in treatment rooms.
Health and wellness-oriented.
Ability to perform 30, 60, and occasional 90-minute therapeutic massage.
Job Qualifications
Experience: 2+ yrs. of Massage Therapy experience (Preferred).
Experience in a chiropractic/medical setting is a PLUS, but not required.
Experience in Deep Tissue and Swedish techniques is a must. Sports, Pre & Postnatal, and other techniques are a plus.
Opportunity
Hours: Part-time; may convert to Full-time.
Established Office with an existing patient base, plus walk-in patients.
