We're looking for Cardiac Cath Lab RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in Abingdon, VA. The right RN should have 1-2 years recent acute care experience. Below are the responsibilities and qualifications.
Responsibilities
Maintain and monitor EKG equipment and assist during angioplasty, cardiac catheterization, and electrophysiology procedures.
Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization to diagnose or treat heart conditions.
Assist with angioplasties, valvuloplasties, stent placements, pacemaker and ICD implantations.
Stand, walk, bend, lean, stoop for long periods and lift up to 20 pounds regularly, and may need to lift 50 pounds when moving patients.
Demonstrate good stress coping skills and ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.
Qualifications
Clinical experience: 1-2 years recent acute care RN experience, preferably cardiac.
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and 5 years experience (additional certifications may be required).
