Job Type: Full-Time | Nights 7:00 pm‑7:00 am, rotating weekends.
$20,000 Sign‑On Bonus available for qualified applicants.
Provides direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
Patient Populations Served: Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult.

How You'll Contribute
Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patient’s condition.
Establish a plan of care appropriate to problems identified and involve the patient according to his or her capabilities and desires.
Supervise and mentor nursing and support staff during assigned shift.
Assist in determining staffing levels and assignments based on staff availability, abilities, census, patient acuity and work/patient flow.
Provide direct patient care as needed.
Float between staff to assist with problem‑solving.
Takes patient assignments to meet staffing needs.
Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care and identify any issues that affect desired patient outcomes.
Respond to complaints about patient care and related services, and manage through established channels.
Perform role‑specific duties as assigned, including entering orders, performing admissions or discharges, and coordinating transfers.
Ensure staff has necessary equipment and supplies to provide safe, quality patient care.

What We're Looking For
Education: Associate’s degree required. BSN preferred.
Required skills: critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision, and work effectively in a stressful environment.
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) at time of hire; Pediatric Advanced Life Support required within 6 months of hire or department transfer.
Licenses: licensed Registered Nurse in Tennessee or a Compact State with proper Tennessee paperwork filed within 30 days of hire.
