
REGISTERED NURSE, ICU Per Diem

Responsibilities
This ICU Registered Nurse opportunity is part time and offers a convenient flexible day shift schedule. The role provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. The nurse demonstrates patient‑centered care and service excellence, and leads and supports the healthcare team.
Involve the patient and family’s psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population‑specific, and diversity needs in the care assessment.
Construct and implement the plan of care using nursing knowledge and skill, integrating direct and indirect patient care activities related to diagnosis and co‑morbidities.
Coordinate the implementation of the interdisciplinary plan of care for assigned patients, developing goals, treatment, and discharge plans that meet individual patient/family needs.
Consistently complete hourly rounds to strengthen nurse communication, improve safety, and anticipate patient needs (e.g., pain, repositioning, toileting), evaluating the environment to ensure patient friendliness and safety.

Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited or NLN‑approved RN program
Current Nevada nursing license
Current ACLS and BLS certificates
Prefer one year full‑time or three years part‑time experience in an acute care setting
Handle with Care (or obtained within six months of employment)
