Job Summary
Northern Nevada Medical Center, a 124‑bed acute care hospital located at 2375 E on 23 hillside acres, is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse for a per diem night shift. Relocation is offered.
Key Responsibilities
Provide safe and competent nursing care for ICU patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
Offer professional leadership and support to the healthcare team, creating and implementing individualized care plans.
Coordinate the interdisciplinary plan of care for assigned patients and conduct hourly rounds to strengthen communication and anticipate patient needs.
Educate patients and families on the Patient Centered Care Delivery model, including open medical records policy, visitation, and quiet environment.
Qualifications
Current Nevada nursing license.
Minimum one year of critical‑care nursing experience.
Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and patient‑centered care.
