UFlex Float Pool offers the opportunity to care for a wide variety of Acute Care patients across Northside Hospital's legacy campuses (Atlanta, Cherokee and Forsyth). This position consists of a 1 shift per week commitment. Our team also enjoys self-scheduling!

Responsibilities
The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act. The practice utilizes ANA's Scope and Standards of Professional Practice and Professional Performance, and includes five domains: Clinical Knowledge and Practice; Professional Practice; Leadership; Professional Development; and Evidence-Based Practice, Quality and Research. The uFlex Registered Nurse is licensed to practice professional nursing in the state of Georgia, in good standing and without limitations; has a minimum of two years (2) years full-time experience as a registered professional nurse, and has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, an Associate Degree (AD) or a Diploma in Nursing. The uFlex Registered Nurse manages care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of the nursing division, to include the Northside Nursing Collaborative Care Model. The uFlex RN positions are for nurses who have reached a level of experience to work in specialty areas. The uFlex RN is required to travel and work in multiple settings, both inpatient and outpatient, within a 30 mile radius of a NSH campus at any given time.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities, Licenses or Certification Required
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities, Licenses or Certification Preferred
BSN degree
Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
