Thrifty White Pharmacy is seeking a full‑time Pharmacy Customer Service Associate in #762 Maple Grove, Minnesota (C) to assist the Pharmacy team in providing customer service via telephone to our pharmacy partners.

Schedules for this position may vary with the needs of the business and/or employee. Operating hours for this team are 7:30 AM – 8:00 PM. Candidates must be available to work one night per week until 8 PM and one weekend per month (Saturday & Sunday).

Primary responsibilities include:

Answer incoming phone calls, including answering questions, taking refill requests, and transferring calls to the appropriate person.

Place outbound calls to pharmacy partners to follow up on pending items/questions.

Index and identify incoming faxes to ensure timeliness for all pharmacy orders.

Send outbound faxes to pharmacies for various reasons or requests.

Assist customers with Medicare Part D questions.

Learn and implement new and changing technologies on an ongoing basis.

Maintain flexibility in new or changing work roles and the modification of job responsibilities as required.

Good attendance and punctuality are required to fulfill essential job functions.

Ideal candidate characteristics:

Comfortable on phone for the majority of the shift.

Comfortable with sitting for long periods of time.

Comfortable multitasking between various computer systems.

Prior customer service experience.

Experience with pharmacy and medication terminology.

Applicants should possess excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, the ability to maintain patient confidentiality, be at least 18 years of age, and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
