Victory Family Counseling (VFC) is a culturally inclusive mental health practice located in downtown Concord, North Carolina. As a Latine immigrant‑owned organization, we are dedicated to supporting underserved communities, including BIPOC, Latine, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and others who face systemic challenges. VFC provides trauma‑informed and evidence‑based therapy rooted in compassion and cultural humility. Our professional team offers therapy in multiple languages, both in person and via telehealth. Additionally, we invest in the next generation of therapists through structured clinical internships, mentorship, and training programs.

Role Description
This is an on‑site contract role for a Bilingual Psychotherapist at our Concord, NC location. The Bilingual Psychotherapist will provide comprehensive mental health services, including individual, family, and couples therapy, with a focus on culturally responsive and trauma‑informed approaches. Day‑to‑day tasks include conducting clinical assessments, maintaining accurate client records, developing tailored treatment plans, and collaborating with community partners to support client growth. Additionally, clinicians may contribute to school‑based therapy and participate in community outreach initiatives.

Qualifications

Proficiency in conducting therapy sessions in English and a second language, preferably Spanish or another commonly spoken language

Experience in trauma‑informed, evidence‑based therapeutic approaches and cultural humility

Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and diagnostic skills

Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in maintaining thorough and accurate client records according to ethical standards

Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field

Valid licensure (e.g., LCSW, LCSWA, LMFT, LMFTA, or LPC, LPCA) in the state of North Carolina or eligibility to obtain one

Familiarity with telehealth systems and the ability to adapt to in‑person and virtual modalities is a plus
