
Bioassay Scientist

Job Description
Eurofins PSS is seeking an experienced Bioassay Scientist to permanently work at a client site to support process development and optimization. This position will require assay method transfer to internal and/or external laboratories as well as some routine sample testing.
Position Responsibilities
Perform cell-based potency assays, immunoassays, and molecular assays (ELISA, PCR, etc.)
Process development and optimization of de novo assays, re-development and/or optimization of existing assays, and feasibility evaluation of existing assays based on process changes
Perform assay transfer to additional external and internal laboratories
Sampling and routine execution of existing assays
Support plan of assay development via scientific literature review and data analysis
Qualifications
Basic Minimum Qualifications
BS in a life sciences discipline (Biology, Molecular Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, etc.) with at least a year of industry experience in the following:
ELISA and PCR
Purification experience
Mammalian Cell Culture
Must be eligible to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
Industry experience with method development and method transfer of immunoassays
cGMP experience
Additional Information
The position is
full-time, first shift, Monday-Friday
with overtime as needed. Candidates living within a commutable distance of
