Overview
Provide services in regards to prevention, recognition, evaluation, immediate care and rehabilitation for all active individuals and sports related injuries. The individual will also demonstrate professional development and responsibility. The incumbent will perform related duties as assigned.

Location: Mercy HealthTracks, Springfield, MO
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited physical therapy program with a doctorate degree.
Graduate of a Master's of Athletic Training program from a CAATE accredited program (if applicable).
State of practice license for Physical Therapy.
State of practice licensure for athletic training.
Certification: Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer (BOC) or Board Certified Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS) for Physical Therapy.
Additional Certification: Mercy Health System approved Professional Rescuer CP.
Other Skills, Knowledge, Abilities
Performs patient care and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age‑specific needs, and to provide the care needed.
Adapts to varying work hours and travel required throughout the year.
Has knowledge of various equipment such as: Therapeutic Modalities, Thermal and Electric Modalities, Computer, Dictaphone, Cellular Phone, Therapeutic Equipment.
