A Day in the Life of a Certified Nursing Assistant / CNA
As a CNA, you will:
Assist clients with feeding, bathing, and other personal hygiene tasks.
Perform light housekeeping duties, prepare meals, and shop for groceries as needed.
Provide companionship and support for clients with cognitive impairments or dementia.
Maintain detailed logs of activities performed during each shift and submit accurate documentation.
Check in with the office regularly to provide timely updates on clients' needs.
Qualifications
Reliable transportation
2‑Step TB Test or BAMT (QuantiFERON‑TB Gold Blood Test)
Valid driver’s license, passport, or formal ID card
CNA certification
CPR certification
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Two or more years of CNA or home‑care experience, including caring for a loved one, is a plus.
Work Schedule
The caregiving position offers flexible hours, including day or night shifts. Client needs may require as few as two hours of care, either at home or in a facility.
