About the Role
Weinstein Properties seeks an EPA‑certified Maintenance Technician to maintain apartments and communal spaces in a well‑maintained community. The role offers a stable, long‑term opportunity with competitive pay and excellent benefits.
Core Responsibilities
Complete work orders in occupied and vacant apartments.
Assist with apartment turns and make‑readies.
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and carpentry items.
Maintain appearance of community grounds, amenities, and pool areas.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to keep the property running smoothly.
Desired Qualifications
At least 3 years of apartment or residential maintenance experience.
EPA Certification (Type II or Universal).
Hands‑on HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience.
Strong customer service mindset and pride in work.
Ability to work independently and as a reliable team player.
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and prioritizing tasks.
Physical & Technical Requirements
Reliable transportation.
Comfortable using computers and mobile devices (Outlook, work‑order systems, etc.).
Ability to drive a golf cart.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work indoors/outdoors year‑round.
Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
Experience using hand and power tools.
Background check required.
Schedule & Compensation
Full‑time: Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm (40 hrs/week).
Participation in a rotating emergency on‑call schedule with the team.
Pay: $23‑$25 /hour (up, depending on experience).
On‑call pay: $150 /week (calls or no calls); additional $150 per holiday on‑call.
Quarterly bonus: Up to $980 based on property and team performance.
