Role Overview

The HR Generalist will support U.S. corporate and retail teams, partnering closely with leadership to deliver core HR functions. This hands-on role focuses on employee relations, compliance, performance management, training, payroll coordination, and workplace health and safety. The position plays a key role in ensuring alignment with employment laws and fostering a productive, compliant, and engaging workplace.
HR Generalist Responsibilities

Partner with HR leadership and management to execute HR strategy across compliance, performance management, training, and employee relations
Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and maintain up-to-date HR policies and practices
Support performance management processes including goal setting, feedback, and development planning
Manage employee relations matters, conduct investigations, and guide disciplinary actions where needed
Collaborate with payroll teams to ensure accurate and compliant payroll processes
Assist with compensation reviews, market analysis, and total rewards initiatives
Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processes
Lead and track training programs, including onboarding and compliance training
Promote and manage workplace health and safety programs, including workers’ compensation and OSHA compliance
Partner cross-functionally on HR initiatives and special projects
HR Generalist Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
5+ years of experience in an HR Generalist role
Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR best practices
Experience in retail or fashion industry preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR/Payroll systems
