Position Summary

Team member will operate the system to pull jobs, replenish inventory, and pull orders for shipping and replenishment to operational areas. The role requires use of UPS, Federal Express, and other carrier systems to ship products, and includes knowledge of international shipping requirements.
Job Duties

Package boxes, crates, and trays and prepare final shipment of a large variety of components and assemblies as directed by customer requirements.
Demonstrate understanding of packaging requirements for each customer and familiarity with specific packaging equipment.
Scan shippers and associated documents to a local drive.
Order trucks for shipment of various non‑standard deliveries.
Receive, count, and complete paperwork for incoming parts, products and/or materials, and distribute incoming shipment contents.
Act as the final audit point to ensure all receiving documentation is complete, accurate, and present; coordinate with the team to resolve issues.
Maintain good record‑keeping and filing.
Perform any other responsibilities as required or directed to support the overall goals of the Operations Team.
Train and on‑board new employees on functional tasks.
Manage the consignment area for vendor‑managed inventory.
Cycle‑count inventory and properly code and dispose on the mainframe with key stakeholders.
Receive inbound goods physically and electronically in the mainframe, and stock put‑aways into appropriate locations.
Actively support and implement lean principles.
Participate with plant management to resolve conflicts from unpredictable variances affecting the master schedule (changing priorities, engineering changes, material shortages, scrap/repairs, labor shortages, machine availability).
Foster positive working relationships and respond proactively to performance concerns, discipline, employee complaints, and other employee relations matters.
Qualifications

Education and Experience

High school diploma or GED.
6 months of experience in a related area preferred.
Prior knowledge of components and flow of material preferred.
Mathematical Skills

Know basic math including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication; must be able to use a calculator and perform basic to semi‑complex calculations.
Reasoning Ability

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions as needed; must be accurate and detail oriented.
Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds; extensive bending, lifting, stooping, and long periods of standing.
Key Competencies

Good manual dexterity, reliable judgment, attendance, and willingness to learn.
May require forklift operator certificate.
Good knowledge of computer terminal operations and shipping software.
Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Pay, Benefits, Work Schedule

Pay Range: $20.52/hr to $34.20/hr
