About the Role
Join Tristate Transportation as a CDL Class A Truck Driver and be a vital part of our dedicated team!
Must train for one week with another driver. 401(k) and health care benefits available after 90 days. Must have CDL Class A. Must have Tanker/Hazmat, TWIC Card, and CDL for over 3 years. No more than 3 MVR violations in 3 years.
Responsibilities
Operate Class A trucks safely and efficiently to transport liquid asphalt from plants to customers
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance records.
Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery schedules and any issues on the road.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safety and timely deliveries.
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and address any customer inquiries professionally.
Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance driving skills and safety awareness.
Requirements
Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
Minimum of 3 years of experience driving Class A trucks.
Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
