
Material Handler

The Material Handler is responsible for the movement, storage, accuracy, and flow of materials throughout the facility. This role supports production by ensuring raw materials, components, and finished goods are properly handled, scanned, and delivered to the correct locations in a timely manner. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-minded, and comfortable working independently on 3rd shift after initial training.Sun-Thurs 11p-7:30a with possible OT Key Responsibilities
Safely load, unload, move, and stage materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material‑handling equipment.
Deliver raw materials and components to production lines based on schedule requirements.
Accurately track and document material movements using inventory or scanning systems.
Maintain organized material storage areas; follow FIFO and inventory rotation practices.
Support cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and variance investigations.
Remove finished goods from production, properly label, and stage for shipment.
Inspect materials for damage, report discrepancies, and assist with problem resolution.
Maintain clean and safe work areas following company safety policies and OSHA standards.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, production teams, and warehouse staff.
Requirements:
Ability to lift and or move up to 50lbs throughout the entire shift
Ability to stand, walk, bend and stoop
Ability to use hands to finger, handle and feel Ability to understand and communicate (talk-read-hear) work instructions
Candidates MUST be able to train on 1st shift for 2-3 weeks
