Job Description
Beverly Hills Boutique Family Law practice looking for a licensed attorney. The firm currently handles custody, visitation, support, protective orders, and all other aspects of Divorce, Domestic Violence, and Paternity cases. Applicant should be experienced in handling cases from initial client consultation through final trial. You will be expected to begin taking Family Law cases and Court appointments immediately.
Duties include client interaction (initial interview, fact-gathering, phone/email/zoom contact with client), attend depositions, mediation, and hearings, trial preparation including extensive preparation of discovery requests and responses, preparation of cases, sending letters to opposing parties, preparation of legal documents, and requests for orders, meet and confer letters, calendaring deadlines, ensuring all deadlines are met, legal research, and coordinating with staff and attorneys. Family Law experience is a plus but not required.
As an associate attorney at the firm, you will manage your own cases while also providing support to the Partner on complex cases. We need a motivated person who will uphold the high standards of client service of the firm in addition to providing skilled legal representation. The ideal candidate has exceptional attention to detail and excellent writing abilities.
