We are actively searching for an experienced

Legal Administrative Assistant (Legal Secretary)

to join our team in our

Troy, Michigan office . Our legal administrative assistants play a vital role on our case teams and are respected for their ideas and contributions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task. Your confidence and communication skills will help you develop strong professional relationships with our team.
Job Responsibilities

As a Legal Administrative Assistant, you will work alongside attorneys and paralegals to ensure our clients receive best-in-class service.
Skills

Prepare legal documents and correspondence
File documents in state and federal courts
Prepare binders for attorneys and judges
Create and save documents and emails to iManage (document management system) in accordance with firm policy
Experience with obtaining documents from online court directories
Schedule meetings and other calendar commitments
Calendaring legal due dates in CompuLaw
Make travel arrangements and process expense reports
Process client disbursements
Organize and maintain case files
Supporting overall Bowman and Brooke administrative needs by assisting team members where needed
Qualifications

Exceptional organizational skills
Exceptional computer skills
Ability to work overtime when the need arises
Heavy computer use
Education and Experience

Minimum of 5+ years of legal experience required
Civil Litigation experience required
Knowledge of Michigan Court system required
Demonstrated employment stability
