Our law firm is seeking a seasoned Pre-Litigation Personal Injury attorney to join our growing team! If you are highly experienced in pre-lit, can handle a high-volume caseload, are money motivated, and desire to score a win for our injured clients, please apply today. Quarterly bonus based on fees, in addition to guaranteed base salary. Health benefits and 401(k), PTO.
Responsibilities
Record and update the status of all case files in the case management system
Draft, review, and modify claims, motions, discovery responses, demand letters, pleadings, subpoenas, memorandums, and other legal documents
Represent the client at hearings, trials, mediations, depositions, and litigation
Supervise and delegate tasks to the team of legal assistants, personal injury paralegals, case managers, litigation paralegals, and legal secretary
Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, insurance company adjusters, supporting witnesses, and medical providers to gather information
Qualifications
Up-to-date knowledge of personal injury law/ tort law, wrongful death, civil and family law, medical terminology, and medical malpractice is imperative
Excellent negotiation, drafting, research, and communication skills are desired
Bachelor’s degree and a J.D. degree is required
A minimum of 3 years of personal injury litigation or trial experience in medical malpractice, wrongful death, personal injury, or civil litigation practice areas is necessary
Computer proficiency is essential
Compensation
$165,000 - $185,000 yearly
