
Sr. Full Stack Developer - Lead IV

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr to lead‑level Software Engineer who enjoys collaborating closely with others, writing clean and maintainable code, and working across the full stack in an AWS environment. This role is within an enterprise engineering team that builds a modern internal platform used by thousands of business associates every day.
This role is not about heads‑down solo development. It's for someone who likes talking through design decisions, reviewing code with peers, and owning solutions beyond just getting features shipped.
What You’ll Be Working On
Building and enhancing full stack applications using React, TypeScript, and Node.js
Designing solutions collaboratively with a tight‑knit agile team
Supporting complex business workflows by improving existing systems, not rebuilding from scratch
Working in a cloud‑native environment using AWS and infrastructure as code
Ensuring long‑term maintainability, clarity, and quality in everything you deliver

Required Experience
Strong hands‑on experience with React, TypeScript, and Node.js
Full stack experience including backend services and databases
Production AWS experience
Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform
Docker and Kubernetes experience
SQL and database design experience
Experience with Material UI or a comparable component library
Ability to explain architectural decisions and technical tradeoffs clearly
Bachelor’s degree required
Nice to Have
AWS certifications
Experience in financial services or other regulated environments
Logistics
6‑month contract with strong extension potential (up to ~18 months)
40 hrs/week, no overtime
Hybrid onsite Tuesday–Thursday
Local Denver‑area candidates only
