Music Instruction Responsibilities
Maximize the quality of music instruction through private lessons, group lessons, and show rehearsals for all ages and experience levels
Ensure students are learning the fundamentals of music, not just songs, using the School of Rock Method™
Create and document thoughtful lesson plans using our patented teaching Method, Books and Method App
Customer Connection
Communicate with parents on the progress of students by creating quality lesson notes and assignments in the School of Rock Method App for at‑home practice
Interact with parents and students regularly by being visible and accessible while at the school
Pitch in during canceled lessons in the overall execution of the program
Assist in rehearsals and with the upkeep of lesson facilities school
Skill Requirements
2 + years’ experience teaching and/or performing music (Drum kit, guitar, bass, piano/keys, and/or vocals).
Knowledge of music theory
Strong customer relations skills. Excellent ability to deal well with a wide range of customers
Strong organizational skills
Resourceful; good problem‑solver
Works well under pressure
Enthusiastic, flexible, patient, and positive demeanor
Passion for teaching
