Our client, a leading provider of financial services, is hiring a Systems Operations Engineer to join their team in Charlotte, NC!
*This is a 18 month W2 contract with benefits!*
In this role, you will support enterprise application platforms by automating processes, monitoring system performance, and proactively troubleshooting issues within a financial services environment. You will work closely with the SRE initiative, contributing to reliability and observability efforts while partnering with cross‑functional teams to design and implement scalable, resilient solutions.
Responsibilities
Automate and maintain application support processes using tools like Autosys and database scripting (Oracle PL/SQL) to improve system efficiency and reliability.
Monitor system performance and implement observability practices to proactively identify, troubleshoot, and prevent production issues.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support SRE initiatives and design scalable solutions within a large enterprise financial environment.
Requirements
4+ years of systems engineering experience.
2+ years with Autosys and Oracle/PLSQL.
Financial/banking experience.
