Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
Active Texas PT license required to start the assignment.
BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
Outpatient experience required, including evaluations and plan of care development for musculoskeletal and general outpatient populations.
Experience providing 60-minute evaluations and treatment sessions, including documentation of goals, functional quality indicators, and letters of medical necessity.
Proficiency with electronic medical record documentation and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines.
Ability to supervise and delegate to therapy aides or assistants and participate in student clinical education.
Maintains professional licensure and completes state-mandated continuing education per the State Practice Act.
Preferred: prior experience with patient safety programs, safe patient handling techniques, and outcomes-driven therapy programs.
Assignment Details
Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.
Duration: 13 week assignment.
Shift Pattern: 5x8 schedule.
Caseload: Outpatient musculoskeletal and general outpatient patients with 60-minute evaluation plus treatment sessions.
Documentation: Complete timely clinical documentation including goal writing, functional assessments, and charge entry.
