Where You Will Work
The Lexington Medical Center Emergency Department focuses on patient care, nursing satisfaction, safety, and teamwork. The department offers 25 beds and includes specialized areas for core emergency care, super‑track services, and behavioral health support. Our mission is to provide patient‑centered care while efficiently stabilizing patients and ensuring appropriate management of their disposition.

Expectations We’re Looking For

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing

Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire

2 years of ED experience preferred

What You’ll Do

Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

Apply evidence‑based practice, clinical decision‑making, compassion, and skillful communication to create the safest patient environment and deliver the best patient experience across the continuum.
