Geisinger, a nationally recognized healthcare system, is seeking a fellowship trained or experienced Breast Imaging Radiologist to join our expanding team in Pennsylvania, with practice opportunities in Wilkes Barre. This position offers a true Mon‑Fri, 1 week on / 1 week off schedule, with the off week fully protected – no breast imaging reads, procedures, call, or remote work responsibilities.
Job Duties
1 week on / 1 week off block schedule for outstanding work‑life balance
100% Breast Imaging or Hybrid Practice Options
Join a collaborative team of more than 15 breast imaging radiologists, part of a 90‑member radiology department
Work in an ACR‑accredited Breast Imaging Center of Excellence
Access to advanced imaging technology, including:
3D HD mammography
Diagnostic imaging
Upright tomographic, ultrasound, and MRI‑guided biopsies
New: Contrast‑enhanced mammography
Integrated multidisciplinary breast health program with:
Onsite radiologists, pathologists, surgeons, psychologists, geneticists, and nurse navigators
High‑risk breast clinic
Academic & Research Opportunities
Teach medical students and radiology residents
Participate in clinical trials and breast imaging research (optional)
Compensation & Benefits
$140,000 Starting Bonus
