Job Overview
Travel RN- OR start date: ASAP. Duration: 13 weeks. Shift: days- 4 10s (T-F 6a-4:30p). Rate: $72 per hour. Requirements: Active license, ACLS, BLS, PALS, 2+ years OR RN experience with a combination of Orthopedics, Plastics, OB/GYN.
Responsibilities
Demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning patient care in the operating room.
Works with surgeons, anesthesiologists, OR therapists and other personnel to provide patient care in accordance with State Nurse Practice Act, AORN and regulatory standards, physician orders, hospital and surgical department policies and procedures.
Ensures supplies, timeliness of cases, communication with families, updating of physician preference cards, scrubs and assists physicians during surgical cases, and supervises personnel delivering patient care.
