Thrive Pet Healthcare is seeking a friendly, organized, and compassionate Veterinary Client Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you’ll serve as a key point of contact for clients—creating a warm first impression, supporting hospital flow, and helping deliver an exceptional experience for pets and their families.

About the Hospital
At Thrive Pet Healthcare, we provide primary care for cats and dogs in the Houston Heights area. Our services include wellness exams, vaccinations, spay & neuter surgery, and end‑of‑life care. We’re proud to be a trusted, family‑focused clinic serving our local community.
What You’ll Do
Greeting clients and pets with warmth and professionalism
Assisting new clients with registration and communicating expected wait times
Answering phone calls, emails, and non‑medical client inquiries
Scheduling appointments and diagnostics and coordinating with referring hospitals when needed
Creating appointment reminders and rescheduling missed visits
Maintaining accurate client and patient records in hospital systems
Keeping the front desk, reception, waiting areas, and exam rooms clean and organized
Reviewing invoices and ensuring accurate payment processing and cash drawer reconciliation
Supporting teammates and contributing to a collaborative, positive work environment
Experience & Skills
Customer service experience required
1+ year of veterinary experience strongly preferred
Knowledge of veterinary triage preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast‑paced setting
Comfort with basic accounting and cash handling
Team‑oriented, dependable, and professional
Schedule Expectations
Ability to work rotating weekends and some holidays
Open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
