Mobile Health Administrative Coordinator
Under the supervision of the department, this position serves as the primary driver of the Mobile Health Unit and provides medical administrative support at mobile and fixed clinic sites.

Key Responsibilities

Clinic Operations and Mobile Health Unit Support (35%) – Drive and maintain the mobile unit, oversee setup and takedown, inventory supplies, transport vehicle for maintenance, support patient flow, and use the electronic health record.

Patient Support and Front Desk Services (20%) – Provide customer service, patient registration, screening, check‑in/out, appointment scheduling, and maintain confidential records in compliance with HIPAA.

Administrative and Scheduling Support (20%) – Manage provider and clinic schedules, data entry, reporting, office supplies, and assist leadership with marketing communications.

Fiscal and Revenue Cycle Support (20%) – Verify insurance coverage, process payments, manage receipts, and support billing and charge entry.

Sponsored Programs and Clinical Trials Support (5%) – Assist with research protocols, maintain program documentation, and complete required training.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Minimum 2 years of related work experience.

Valid South Carolina driver’s license with no active suspensions.

Preferred Requirements

Associate or Bachelor degree in health science, public health, business, communication, or a related field.

Experience in a rural community and/or using an electronic health record.

Experience driving recreational vehicle or truck.

Proficiency in Spanish.

Health‑related certifications (e.g., community health worker).

Physical Requirements

Stand for prolonged periods; walk or move about; use hands or feet to operate equipment.

Ascend or descend stairs or ladder.

Communicate and express oneself clearly.

Working Conditions

Exposure to heat or cold; noise; vibration.

Limited overnight travel.

Compensation
Salary range: $37,200.00 – $47,000.00, dependent on experience and qualifications.

Work Schedule
Standard hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday‑Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
