Social Worker - School Based Health Center
Provide social work services to adolescents and their families at the A. Phillip Randolph High School Campus.

Qualifications

NYS LMSW or LCSW.

Experience in primary care setting required, school based setting preferred.

Experience with crisis intervention and coordination with emergency services.

Experience delivering sexual and reproductive health counseling and HIV counseling.

Experience delivering short and long term therapeutic individual (and group) interventions, including preventative and risk-reduction models.

Experience working with populations who have complex trauma histories.

Knowledge of mental health and social service resources in greater NYC area and state regulations related to child abuse, child neglect, and other urgent care issues.

Excellent collaborative, clinical, organizational, and documentation skills.

May need to cover other school based health center sites.

LCSW preferred.

Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities
The social worker will provide evaluation, short-term and ongoing individual psychotherapy and supportive counseling services, health education, crisis intervention, case management, and family and group psychotherapy as part of an inter-disciplinary health care team in a high school setting. Note: This position (with PTO) is full-time (12 months a year) with other AHC-related duties during any periods of the year when school is not in session. PTO is 31 days per year.

Compensation
Salary range: $85,280 - $101,670.78 annually. (Salary range or contractual rate does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay, or other benefits).
