ED Social Worker MSW or LCSW - Full Time

Position located at Southwest Healthcare’s Inland Valley Hospital in Wildomar, California and Rancho Springs Hospital in Murrieta, California.
Responsibilities

The Social Worker applies principles of Social Work and other behavioral health practices to provide patients and families with assessment, interventions, support, advocacy, and case management as a primary provider and/or as ancillary support to the primary medical provider. In all departments the Social Worker practices as a member of a multi‑disciplinary team, providing clinical intervention and support to patients and families. The Social Worker assesses, develops treatment plans, and intervenes to address the needs identified in the assessment and by the team. Utilizing knowledge of culture, age, and developmental stages, the Social Worker develops treatment plans and provides interventions, either as an independent practitioner or as a member of a clinical team. The Social Worker may also provide support and debriefing to SWHS staff following traumatic events. Employees may be required to float to the other facility within Southwest Health (Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospitals) based on operational needs, with appropriate orientation and competency validation provided.
Qualifications

Minimum Essential Experience

Acute care experience preferred
2 years as a social worker in any mental health environment required

Minimum Essential Education

High School Diploma
Completion of an accredited Social Work Program
