Company Overview
We Build High‑Quality Commercial Projects—and Need a PM Who Can Keep Up. We’re a fast‑paced commercial general contractor seeking a Project Manager who can take the reins on projects from precon to closeout. Our typical work includes tenant improvements, office buildouts, concrete site work and exterior upgrades—ranging from $300k–$1M.
We’re looking for someone with real field experience and deep trade knowledge who is organized, forward‑thinking, and proactive—ready to run multiple projects at once while keeping teams aligned and work moving.
Responsibilities
Manage 3–5 active projects across scopes like TI, light retail, and site improvements.
Maintain daily jobsite presence. This role is field‑based, not office‑based.
Develop, update, and track project schedules—including one‑ and two‑week lookaheads that must be built and confirmed before the week begins.
Oversee and coordinate subcontractors and trade sequencing.
Coordinate BF internal crew on site including task assignments, daily readiness, and clear direction.
Maintain quality control—everything should meet plan and spec.
Communicate consistently with field teams, clients, and internal staff.
Identify and resolve issues before they escalate.
Document field conditions and daily progress through photo uploads as all documentation must match scheduled work.
Qualifications
5+ years of commercial construction experience with a strong base in hands‑on field or trade work.
Ability to read a full set of plans in detail.
Comfortable working with digital scheduling and project management platforms; experience keeping schedules, tracking tasks, and communicating updates through tech‑based tools.
Strong knowledge of construction documents and trade coordination.
Software skills in Smartsheet, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Dropbox.
Experience managing jobs from start to finish.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Prior experience in the field (Superintendent or Field Engineer) is a plus.
