The Civil and Architectural Engineering and Construction Management (CAECM) Department at Milwaukee School of Engineering is seeking adjunct faculty to join our dynamic team in Spring 2025 as a part-time faculty member. We are actively seeking passionate educators to complement our outstanding faculty, forge industry partnerships, drive student recruitment, and mentor our extraordinary students. This role is ideal for those who are enthusiastic about educating the next generation of built environment professionals. Exceptional candidates with a specialty in one or more of the following areas are needed:
Architecture
Construction Management
Architectural Engineering
Civil Engineering
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging undergraduate and graduate courses, focusing on hands‑on learning.
Support both student recruitment and student success.
Leverage industry experience to educate the next generation of built environment professionals.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's Degree in architecture, construction management, architectural engineering, civil engineering, facilities engineering, or a closely related discipline is required.
Extensive industry experience, a master's degree, and professional licensure (AIA, P.E., P.G. and/or P.H.) would be considered under the proper circumstances.
Strong commitment to and interest in undergraduate teaching and mentorship.
Available beginning Spring of 2025.
Preferred Qualifications
Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) is preferred.
Prior college level teaching experience.
Background in industrial/commercial facilities and/or infrastructure design engineering.
Knowledge of various software packages appropriate to the candidate's specialty.
