Responsibilities
Assisting Professional Engineers in the development of conventional roadway plan sets for FDOT and City/County clients
Work with experienced Engineers and Project Managers to develop accurate design
Developing 2D & 3D models for roadway design projects meeting FDOT submittal standards
Prepare submittal packages for agency permitting and phased review submittals
Stay up to date with industry trends and CAD technology
Assist Senior Engineers/Project Managers in project duties
Qualifications
BS or MS in Civil Engineering from ABET accredited institution
0-4 years post-graduation experience with geometric layout of intersections and roadways
Engineering Intern (EI) License required
Working knowledge of FDOT, AASHTO, and MUTCD standards
Strong technical writing and communication skills
Preferred: MicroStation, Open Roads Designer Connect Edition, Microsoft Office 365
