Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician
Walmart is expanding our workforce across local retail stores and is actively recruiting a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician. If you possess relevant experience, we invite you to bring your skills to our fast‑paced and welcoming work environment.
Responsibilities
Maintain and repair Walmart facility’s Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills, hand tools, digital tools, and power tools.
Utilize the work order management system to receive repair Work Orders, support Stores and Store associates, and document repair activities.
Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
Complete all required training requirements to operate equipment and tools safely.
Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by performing work according to the Walmart Refrigeration HVAC safety policy and environmental guidelines.
Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and be comfortable working at heights frequently.
Minimum Qualifications
10 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
Large‑Scale Rack Refrigeration experience.
Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for refrigerant handling.
Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report.
18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
Compensation
Salary range: $56,160 – $106,080.
Currently offering a $2,000 sign‑on bonus (for select locations).
Individual compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, level of job offer, qualifications, and other job‑related factors.
Eligible for bonus incentive.
