Job Description
Diesel Mechanic, Earn up to $42.93/hr. Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 2nd shift 4:00 pm to 12:30 am.

Overview
R+L Carriers has an immediate opportunity for Diesel Mechanics at our Burlington Township, NJ Service Center. The role involves day-to-day equipment maintenance on our fleet, including preventative maintenance and repairs to Class 8 trucks, trailers, and potentially forklifts. Responsibilities may include maintaining trailers, overhead doors, lift gates, dollies, and welding depending on location.
Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and fleet equipment
Conduct major repairs as needed
Work with air conditioning and electrical systems
Lift up to 50 lbs
Utilize own tools
Support maintenance of Cummins and Detroit engines
Perform trailer PMs and repairs
Qualifications
Experience in preventive maintenance and repairs on diesel engines
Must be able to handle major repairs
Experience with AC and Electrical systems
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Must have own tools
2+ years of diesel mechanic experience preferred
Experience with Cummins & Detroit engines
Experience using Cetaris for work orders
Experience in trailer PMs and repairs
