We are seeking an
Electronics Technician 4
to join our
Security and Electronic Systems (SES)
business unit. As part of
(SES)
Strategic Business Unit you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates and maintains electronic security services inclusive of intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, IT systems, perimeter defense and command and control systems for federal, local and commercial customers across high-growth markets.
Responsibilities
In this role you will be responsible for installing and maintaining electronic security systems. Performing preventive maintenance requirements. Performing inspections, evaluations, and inventory.
Leading teams on large complex installation projects with limited supervision.
Leading and documenting daily toolbox talks, ORMs and Safety Audits.
Installing and maintaining equipment at both the local and global level per design packages.
Programming and installation of head end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection and CCTV systems.
Troubleshooting and isolating both systems and/or hardware at both a local and global level.
Lead the on-site software commissioning and testing.
Lead inspections, evaluations, and inventory; performing take-offs from project drawings; create, document, and track RFIs.
Design assist and feedback.
Documenting daily reports and project progress.
Communicating project and team member issues/concerns to management.
Create and manage project schedule; integration of IDS, ACS and CCTV systems.
Forecast and manage project labor hours; communicate effectively with supervisors and subordinates.
Guide and mentor technicians.
Must be available to travel a minimum of 25% .
Qualifications
Clearance/Citizen Type:
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and may meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information; No clearance needed.
Key Requirements:
Requires a valid driver's license. This position may require ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle. Selected candidates must possess an acceptable driving record in accordance to our policy.
Education:
HS diploma or GED; Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours) or graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program or graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program; an additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities.
Required Progressive Experience:
8+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs; 3 years of the above experience must be focused in electronic security systems. Strong oral, written and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to work with multidisciplinary teams; time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives. Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills are a plus. Must be able to travel.
Preferred Qualifications:
Vendor certifications in multiple IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems (CCURE, Lenel, Identiv/Hirsch Velocity, Bosch CCTV, etc.); 3 years experience focused in electronic security systems; OSHA 30 certification.

Abilities
The position requires the ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. Candidates must demonstrate physical strength and stamina to perform various tasks, including loading, unloading, operating equipment, and assisting in the transportation of materials. Safety protocols must be followed.
Relocating a 12-foot stepladder without assistance.
Works at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks and ladders.
Walks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls and reaches overhead on a routine basis.
Visual and auditory requirements, including color vision and ability to hear and communicate in English.
May use a standard ladder while carrying tools, ensuring not to exceed weight limits.
Able to recognize problems and report them; no problem-solving required in this description.
Ability to apply general rules to specific problems and to see details at close range; good listening skills.
Pay Range
USD $36.00 - USD $60.00 /Hr.
