Responsibilities
Provide physical therapy assistant services under the supervision of a PT, including execution of treatment plans and progress documentation
Support a caseload with a mix of 60–70% outpatient and 30–40% inpatient (swing bed and home health) needs
Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, functional activities, and modalities per the plan of care; monitor responses and report changes to the supervising PT
Document care in the electronic health record with timely, accurate notes and data entry
Collaborate with physical therapists, nurses, and other members of the care team to ensure coordinated, safe patient care
Maintain CPR certification and follow safety and infection control guidelines; Spanish language skills are a plus
Requirements
Current LPTA license (active, in good standing)
CPR certification
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
Proficient with electronic health records and basic computer skills
Ability to work in a hospital-based travel assignment and support outpatient and inpatient settings
Spanish language skills are a plus
