Physical Therapist Assistant – Outpatient (PTA) traveling assignment in Socorro, New Mexico.
Location: Socorro, NM
Start date: 05/18/2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Hours: 40 hours per week, 8‑hour days
Travel assignment
Weekly pay: $1,636.00 – $1,686.00
Responsibilities
Assist licensed physical therapists in delivering therapeutic interventions.
Support patients in regaining mobility, managing pain, and restoring function after injuries or surgeries.
Provide manual therapy techniques, exercise prescription, and assistive device training.
Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and equipment usage.
Maintain accurate patient records and progress reports.
Qualifications
Certified Physical Therapist Assistant in New Mexico.
Completion of an accredited PTA program.
1 year of outpatient experience; new graduates accepted.
BLS certification.
Up to 30 days of work history gaps in the last 7 years acceptable.
Provide one reference from work history.
