Beloit Health System is hiring for a Registered Nurse Clinic to join our team at Beloit Occupational Health and Sports Medicine team located in Beloit, WI.

Shift: 1st

Schedule: 8a-5p

Hours per week: 40 hours per week

This Registered Nurse Clinic At Beloit Occupational Health And Sports Medicine Will Provide Nursing Care And Perform Procedures As Necessary For Patient Care. The Registered Nurse Beloit Occupational Health And Sports Medicine

Assists provider with procedures and provides necessary nursing care and procedures as necessary

Demonstrates the ability to navigate and perform functions accurately and efficiently with computer software applications

Works with various clients, including BHS Human Resources to perform and coordinate pre-hire assessments

Manages and tracks employee injuries, illnesses, and exposures

Administers medications, vaccines, and TB skin testing

Maintains medication, vaccine, and supply inventories

Maintains OSHA logs and documentation

Submits injury reports to appropriate insurance carrier and completes necessary follow-up

Coordinates internal and external flu shot program

Consistently uses good judgment and professional communication in accommodating patients' needs

Strictly adheres to infection control procedures including body substance isolation and bloodborne pathogen precautions

Ensures patient safety while handling, transporting, and providing medications to patients

Protect patients from various hazards, falls, diseases exposures, etc.

Participates in quality assurance activities initiates and maintains accurate electronic and/or paper medical records

Job Requirements

Graduate of accredited school of nursing

ADN, Diploma, BSN, or MSN degree acceptable.

State of Wisconsin nursing licensure, compact license or temporary permit required. (If a compact license, application for a State of Wisconsin nursing license must be initiated in no more than 30 days from start date).

Must be CPR certified within 3 months of hire.

Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply proper procedures to Beloit Health System policies.

Employee possesses the training, knowledge, and skills necessary to perform the following activities (evaluation, treatment, and patient care) for patients in one or more of the following age groups: neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric.

Successful completion of pre-placement physical examination.

Involves physical effort that includes full range of body motion which includes standing, walking for extensive periods of time. Also assists with lifting patients up to 25 pounds weight, pushing transport carts ranging in weight of 50-200 pounds.

Required to have manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.

Requires to see and hear at a level sufficient to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Requires working in sometimes stressful conditions or irregular hours.

Requires some exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids.
