Infection Preventionist (RN)
to lead and oversee our infection control and prevention program within our skilled nursing facility. This role is responsible for monitoring, investigating, and preventing infections to ensure the health and safety of our residents, staff, and visitors. The Infection Preventionist collaborates with clinical leadership to implement evidence-based practices, maintain regulatory compliance, and provide ongoing education to staff.

Infection Preventionist RN Responsibilities
Ensure facility compliance with policies, procedures, and state regulations
Conduct audits and review EMAR reports for medication compliance
Perform resident assessments and monitor wound care practices
Provide training and clinical support to staff
Participate in care conferences and quality improvement
Review incident reports to ensure proper documentation and reporting
Infection Preventionist RN Qualifications
Valid RN or LPN License in the state of
IP Certification required or willing to obtain
3 years of management experience, including experience in long-term care.
Current, unencumbered, active Registered Nurse ( RN ) license in the State of New Jersey.
General knowledge of professional basic nursing, restorative, and personal care services.
