Work Hours
Part‑time nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) for 24 hours / week. Weekend and holiday requirements.
What You Need
High school diploma or equivalent.
Compliance with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency.
Completion of a PCT training program such as TX CNA, NHA, NAHP, NCCT, accredited community college program, or a THR‑approved program. Certification maintenance after hire is not required.
EMT or EMT‑B equivalent training, including military medical training experience.
Completed nursing fundamentals or foreign nurse degree program.
One year of applicable experience in lieu of an active, approved certification.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification prior to independent care, maintained quarterly.
Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training maintained annually (within 90 days).
Organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Consistent demonstration of PCT skills for nursing students or EMTs who do not retain formal EMT status.
What You Will Do
Provide patient care and assistance based on the plan of care and patient/family preferences.
Collect and report patient data, and support admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
Perform technical procedures safely and document care accurately.
Collaborate with nurses to adapt care for diverse populations and cultural needs.
Maintain a clean, safe environment and proactively meet patient and visitor needs.
Demonstrate teamwork, flexibility, and effective communication across disciplines.
Participate in process improvement, adhere to safety goals, and advocate for patients.
