PART-TIME CHILD AND ADOLESCENT PSYCHIATRIST, SCHOOL MENTAL HEALTH

Northwell Health is recruiting a part-time BE/BC Child and Adolescent psychiatrist to join the school mental health team in Nassau and Suffolk County. Applicants should have outstanding clinical and interpersonal skills and a passion for collaboration and innovation.
Responsibilities
Provide formal psychiatric evaluations in schools on site or virtually.
Support the multidisciplinary crisis service at the Behavioral Health Center, including urgent assessments and short-term crisis care.
Deliver clinical care for students and consultation to schools.
Offer professional and community education, curricular support, and care coordination to participating school districts.
Travel to partnering school districts in Nassau and Suffolk County.
Qualifications
Child and Adolescent Psychiatry BE/BC required.
School mental health or crisis/emergency psychiatry experience preferred.
