NP/PA – Next Level senior care at a top teaching hospital
Kent Hospital, a 360-bed teaching hospital, part of Care New England, a top non-profit health system in Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts, is seeking an Advanced Practice Caregiver to join our dynamic Geriatrics and Palliative Care Team.
Who Are You
BC NP/AGPCNP or PA-C with CAQ in geriatrics preferred
Passionate about teamwork, teaching and high quality patient-centered care
What You’ll Do
Outpatient primary care and consultative practice located adjacent to Kent Hospital
Patient population: geriatrics ages 65+, appointments range from 30-60 minutes
Scope of practice: primary care, h&ps, develop and implement treatment plans for a variety of conditions, cognitive evaluations, mobility management, pre-operative geriatric assessment through our Geriatric Surgery Verification program
Option for some time to be spent on our ACE inpatient unit at Kent Hospital
Collaborate on system-wide Age Friendly initiatives
Minimum 1 year experience
