Overview

A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Gordon Freeman in the Department of Medical Oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard Medical School. The lab focuses on costimulatory and coinhibitory pathways, particularly the PD-L1/PD-1 and HHLA2/KIR3DL3 pathways.

This position will involve examining the role of PD-1 and other coinhibitory pathways in immune responses and particularly on therapeutic synergies of coinhibitory blockade for anti-tumor immunity.

Qualifications

Candidates should have a Ph.D. and/or M.D.
The candidate must be a self-starter capable of generating new ideas with a strong work ethic and intensely curious with a love of discovery.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

A background in immunology and mouse tumor models is essential.
Experience in working with T cells, antigen-presenting cells, cell culture, immunological techniques, multicolor flow cytometry, scRNA analysis are highly desirable.

The hiring range is based on market pay structures, with individual salaries determined by factors such as business needs, market conditions, internal equity, and based on the candidate’s relevant experience, skills and qualifications.
For union positions, the pay range is determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
$72,000.00 - $76,385.00
