Plater 1 - 2nd Shift – Operations
Requisition Number: PLATE004567. Full‑time, on‑site position. Location: West Springfield, Town of, MA 01089, USA.
Responsibilities
Inspect the part before, during, and after processing.
Operate all machinery and instruments necessary to safely perform the job function, including routine maintenance.
Complete fork‑truck training for designated employees only.
Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
Locate and understand relevant Quality system documentation in the FPC computer system.
Understand and perform steps defined in the FPC ROUTER; correctly fill out routers, correct input mistakes, and notify the superior of any router‑related problems.
Process parts with little or no supervision.
Practice behavior that avoids damage to parts and protects the part from damage.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to read process traveler and fill out completed operations.
Ability to perform simple cleaning operations.
Ability to assist as a helper to trained operators.
Ability to follow verbal and written direction.
Ability to use basic hand tools such as wrenches and clamps.
Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work under direct supervision.

$20.00 to $23.00 Per Hour plus shift differential.
