Job Summary
This internship offers the opportunity to apply and develop expertise in designing electric propulsion systems for battery-powered aircraft. At Nidec Aerospace, a joint venture between Nidec and Embraer, interns will support the electrification of aircraft and contribute to net‑zero carbon emissions by 2050.
Description
The intern will work alongside design engineers from ideation through production to support aerospace industry leaders and spearhead technological advances in transport decarbonization. The role involves manufacturing electric propulsion systems for battery‑powered aircraft.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree program in a related engineering field.
Strong academic background with relevant coursework.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent organizational, time‑management, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when required.
