Job Overview
As a Field Service Technician, you'll travel to customer sites to perform essential equipment repairs and maintenance. Your key responsibilities include diagnosing and fixing equipment issues on-site, managing parts and equipment inventory to ensure efficient repairs, and adhering to preventative maintenance schedules for our valued customers. This role combines technical expertise with customer service, as you'll be the face of Martin Bros Distributing in the field, ensuring our equipment operates at peak performance for our clients. Company vehicle, tools, and uniforms provided.

What You'll Do as Our Field Service Technician
Be Our On-Site Problem Solver
Diagnose and repair various equipment at customer locations, including coffee makers, juice dispensers, dishwashers, and laundry machines
Keep accurate records
Grow your skills through ongoing training and hands-on experience
Equipment Care Expert
Maintain and update company equipment to ensure top performance
Perform regular preventative maintenance to avoid unexpected breakdowns
Track parts usage to help manage our inventory
Keep your service van clean, organized, and ready for action
Safety First Champion
Prioritize safety in all aspects of your work, from repairs to driving
Be open to coaching and feedback to continually improve safety practicesCommunicate any safety concerns promptly to the Service Manager
Customer Service Star
Deliver exceptional service with a smile and a professional appearance
Approach every interaction with respect and a solution-oriented mindset
Bring a positive attitude and team spirit to work every day
Skills And Qualifications
Good driving record (must be insurable at regular rates)
Technical troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize events
Logical, mechanically inclined thinking
Problem solving ability (must be able to think of alternative solutions)
Willing to work with the public
Ability to move/lift 100 pounds
Physically capable of getting in and out of service van
Familiar with Microsoft products and be able to enter data
Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
