Responsibilities
Sales
Conduct in-home consultations to assess HVAC needs and present customized solutions.
Prepare and deliver accurate job estimates and proposals.
Close sales and coordinate with the installation and service teams.
Educate customers on energy efficiency, equipment options, and financing.
Build lasting customer relationships through trust and product knowledge.
Service & Repair
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues with HVAC systems including furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners, and ventilation systems.
Perform routine maintenance, safety checks, and tune-ups on HVAC equipment.
Explain findings and solutions to customers in a clear and professional manner.
Complete service tickets and documentation accurately and on time.
General
Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle and manage truck stock inventory.
Follow all company safety procedures and participate in safety meetings/training.
Maintain current knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
Qualifications
5+ years of HVAC service and Sales experience (residential/light commercial)
EPA 608 Certification required
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Prior sales experience with strong communication and customer service skills.
Comfortable working in residential settings and climbing into attics or crawlspaces when needed.
Self‑motivated with a results‑driven mindset.
High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or HVAC certification preferred
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., work in attics/crawl spaces, and use basic hand/power tools
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Sitting for prolonged periods of time.
Manual Dexterity
Visual Demands: Prolonged use of a computer screen and reviewing documents.
Lifting/carrying equipment using proper safety protocols, as necessary.
